Tanden leaders attended the conference on domestic violence, gender equality and women's rights in Copenhagen.

Also attending was the Danish Minister of Social Affairs Mrs. Karen Ellemann, Deputy Ambassador of Uganda Mr. Danny Ssozi and the appointed Ambassador of Rwanda to the Nordic countries Mrs. Christine Nkulikiyinka. She shared Rwanda's experience on issues of gender and women's rights. Others in attendance were church leaders and communities from East African countries living in Denmark. The conference was organized by KIT (Church Integration Ministry), DANNER a Danish organization and Rwandans community in Jylland and Fyn.
